This summer, the Schaubühne Lindenfels is once again hosting its popular Monday Staircase Cinema - an open-air film format that brings film history to life in the open air. Every Monday evening from July 14 until the end of August, thematically curated film excerpts will be shown on the steps in front of the theater. In cooperation with the SCHAUWALD Bar, a cinematic summer series is being created that combines classics and surprises from over 100 years of film history.

The screenings start around 30 minutes after dark and are free of charge for all visitors. The adjoining bar provides refreshments with cool drinks and snacks. A special part of the program: if you guess the theme of the evening correctly, you can win a round of schnapps (alternatively non-alcoholic) for your own table.

The Monday Stepped Cinema combines urban city culture with cinematic diversity and invites you to spend balmy summer evenings in a convivial atmosphere and with a cinematic twist. An opportunity to get to know Leipzig's open-air scene from its most charming side.
