Montagscafé

In the organizer's words:

An open society needs ... дружба, friendship, amitié, friendship, amistad!

The Monday café is a transcultural meeting place for all people from the city and the region. Here we don't just deal with migration and culture in theory, we live it: pop culture, subculture, food culture, film culture and dance, theater, comic, textile, print or word art - our culture and art live from migration processes and the Monday Café is right in the middle of it.

At 3 p.m. we offer an international women's café with a children's play corner and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. the Open Café, where weekly changing evening events take place, as well as our advice on refugee and asylum issues.

As part of the Monday Café, we focus on new ideas from the immigration society in Dresden and Saxony together with various artists and experts. For example, a new newspaper for Dresden (NEW DRESDEN DAILY), a transcultural fashion line (NU STYLE) or interactive discussion formats on art and politics in/from Afghanistan, Syria or Iran.

Admission to all Monday Café events is free - Yalla!
