Although the MOONCOLD trio's love is not exclusively for the wild 70s, they are also in love with being allowed to be different again and again. Their music is as unorthodox as this particular decade. Reinventing everything without inventing anything new.

For Daniel Müller (guitar/vocals), Heiko Eser (drums/vocals) and Sven Dittrich (bass/vocals), it was therefore only logical to have their first band photo taken together in a Citroën SM, which was utopian at the time. Four wheels, one steering wheel and yet a Maserati engine under the hood. A car whose attributes MOONCOLD would like to draw parallels with in order to metaphorically roll through the musical landscape as if from another planet. Traditional rock instruments are used. But they don't want to stick to stylistic dogmas. It would take more than just a drawer to sort them into one. Listeners can let themselves fall into lively surf sounds, dreamy pop ballads and grown-up, hypnotic grooves.
