Dreamy, nostalgic or even bizarre and somehow uncertain - MOONSTRUCK refers to a vibrating state between infatuation and forsakenness. Whether in painting, expansive installation or photographic imagery: The seven artistic positions are united by an interest in emotional intermediate states, personal spaces of memory and a playful non-conformity. The artworks by Amrita Dhillon, Ferdinand Dölberg, Jonathan Joosten, Sarah Neumann, Coco Schütte, Zandile Tshabalala and Jenna Westra step out of line, reminisce, flicker and flirt in just the right measure.
