When two strong forces from the German-speaking music scene join forces, the result is a sound that breaks boundaries - stylistically and emotionally. With their joint project "Moop Mama x Älice", the Munich brass band Moop Mama and the Hamburg rapper Älice (formerly Chefboss) bring a musical alliance to the stage that is loud, powerful and surprisingly sensitive at the same time.

Moop Mama, known for their explosive live shows and their ability to fuse urban hip-hop with funky horn arrangements, have been providing the soundtrack for a generation seeking attitude and energy in equal measure for over a decade. Whether on big festival stages or as a guerrilla band on the street, their music is characterized by direct impact and clever lyrics with a political undertone.

With Älice, they now have an artist at their side who brings her very own voice to the table: powerful, clear, feminist, emotional and always at eye level with the beat. As a performer between rap, singing and electronic influences, she brings a new facet to the Moop universe - sometimes precise and pointed, sometimes soft and vulnerable.

Together they create a new sound: brass-driven hip-hop that dances, stomps and flies. With songs that go forward, but also leave room for nuances. Social issues, personal experiences, collective energy - all of this flows into this musical crossover, which is more than just a feature: it is a statement.

"Moop Mama x Älice" is a fusion that explores the possibilities of live music in a new way - loud, emotional, courageous and uncompromisingly contemporary.

Their new album "Wieder Laut" is the necessary reaction to the ever more outrageously roaring world. Being loud also means being political. For a world that is not characterized by hate and fear, but by opportunities and community.
