With his open-air concert announced today at the Aachen Kurpark Classix on August 26, 2025, rapper MOTRIP has come full circle. We remember: the 37-year-old took to the big stage on Aachen's Monheimsallee in the same place late last summer for a much-acclaimed guest appearance during his friend Michael Patrick Kelly's concert. The spoken word artist and songwriter of Lebanese origin grew up just a stone's throw away from the renowned summer location on Blücherplatz. The music thing, especially his hip-hop socialization, began just a few hundred metres from the open-air arena where he is playing a home game this year.

The chances are good for an extraordinary concert experience, because MOTRIP has new music in the pipeline. His dedicated fan community has been waiting several years for the follow-up to his long-gilded LP "Mama". Of course, the man who has never been unfaithful to his hometown and still lives there today has not been idle between his record productions. On the contrary: he appeared in the seventh season of "Sing meinen Song - Das Tauschkonzert", collaborated with Max Giesinger, Samy Deluxe, Eko Fresh and Matthias Schweighöfer, among many others, and was a successful songwriter for countless musicians. He has also released a best-of album and an orchestral album under his own name. He has also constantly given concerts. What makes MOTRIP so special is that he always engages his listeners when he leads them through eloquent and stylish expressions of empathy ("Out Of Touch"), sociological observations ("David vs. Goliath") and ballads ("Just As You Are", "80 Million").

However, his upcoming third longplayer has been a relatively long time coming. The reason for this: the quality consciousness of the father of three. Dropping songs in assembly line mode to keep his name in the conversation is not his approach. After his hit "So wie du bist" broke the million-seller mark in 2015, the time has now come for MOTRIP to share new material with his listeners. His performance as part of the Kurpark Classix open-air concert series on August 26, 2025 will provide a first taste of this.

We are looking forward to it together with MOTRIP, because it will definitely be a premiere - for the first time, the Aachen Kurpark Classix will welcome the famous son of the imperial city to the popular concert area.
