Untraceable in the most secret hideout in literary history, the chief villain Mr Gum and his disgusting sidekick Willi Wilhelm the Third have their sights set on the weather: The clouds are already falling from the sky and the stench of rotten meat mingles with the omnipresent smell of sherry that envelops the small town of Bad Lamonisch an der Bibber. Our heroines Polly (real name: Jammy Grammy Lammy F'Huppa F'Huppa - and that's just the beginning) and Friday O'Leary are alarmed. Nothing less than everything is at stake! But while there is no sign of Mr Gum, a sinister pirate paddle steamer is creeping up the Bibber, commanded by none other than Captain Basil.
After the successful production Mr Gum and the Talking Cherry Tree, director Markus Heinzelmann has staged the next adventure from Andy Stanton's ludicrous cosmos, which is sure to delight not only small children, but big ones too. And really big ones.
