Mr. Pilk´s Irrenhaus

Attention lovers of black humor! The Remskiesel Theatre ensemble will be presenting "Mr. Pilk's Madhouse" on April 11 and 12, 2025 at 8 pm in the Kulturhaus Schwanen. The 14 scenes by Ken Campbell (or Mr. Pilk?) promise an evening full of bizarre moments and absurd comedy.

Henry Pilk, a drunkard and passionate Irish patriot, firmly claims never to have written this book. In a correspondence with his publisher, he blames Ken Campbell, who wrote down "every piece of shit" that Pilk said. The result is a hodgepodge of sketches, dialogues and scenes, which Theater Remskiesel brings to the stage in an extraordinary production.

The Remskiesel theater group from the Unteres Remstal art school is cooperating with the Kulturhaus Schwanen for this production and guarantees an evening full of British humor that will delight Monty Python fans.
