A musical consultation on dealing with crises and conflicts in a healthy way

A musical consultation on dealing positively with crises and conflicts invites you to find solutions for a better world. Discussions about important topics are often dominated by negative emotions such as fear and anger. The psychologist and author Lea Dohm and the writer Christian Schüle want to encourage and inspire young and old to take action in dialogs.

Music by Daniel Sepec, Bertan Balli, Young Voices Brandenburg and prizewinners of the "Jugend musiziert 2024" competition will reinforce the messages. Inspiring pieces can be heard, including "Imagine" by John Lennon and "Earth Song" by Michael Jackson.

The concert, a collaboration between musicaetcetera and MUK NEUE HORIZONTE, focuses on a utopian world in which peace and cohesion prevail. Climate researcher Prof. Dr. Mojib Latif supports the "CountOnMe" project, which offers positive approaches for a sustainable future - from helping neighbors to supporting small towns in Africa. A central concern is cooperation between older and younger generations. Young people are the decision-makers of tomorrow and need an audible voice now. The initiators promote dialog and networking in order to reduce fears and promote democratic understanding.

Music as a language and art form is intended to inspire emotional engagement with our challenges. The preservation of culture is considered crucial for the sustainability of nature. It gives hope, new ideas and the determination to master the challenges of our time together.

A book table invites you to sign books and exchange ideas before Christmas. "There is a window of opportunity for a sustainable future," emphasizes the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in its latest report. Let's find answers to the pressing questions of our time together!
