This time, the approximately two-hour discussion event in a "living room atmosphere" is entitled: "Munich speaks ... talking about togetherness"
At a time when political debates often bypass each other, we invite you to a special dialog: Inspired by the questionnaires of Swiss writer Max Frisch, a "menu of questions" is intended to lead to insight. About why we so often talk past each other, how a change of perspective enables us to reflect on blind spots or about possible concrete approaches to promote a respectful culture of discussion.
Each of the five main questions contains further questions to facilitate the conversation. In order to get into conversation with different people, we rotate after each question
We then share our experiences and insights from the conversations in plenary. This can be done by speaking up, but also digitally and anonymously via Mentimeter.
Marta Hermyt, a volunteer member of "München spricht" and political education officer at the Youth Meeting Center at Tower (Kreisjugendring München-Land), will lead the event. Her work focuses on teaching critical thinking and discursive skills through philosophy as a cultural technique.
Free admission, but donations to the team fund are welcome. We are also happy to welcome new team members who would like to support our "Munich Speaks" initiative. The event is a good opportunity to get to know each other.

About "Munich speaks":
The voluntary initiative "Munich Speaks" has set itself the goal of creating a platform for open discussion and exchange in Munich - without polemics, agitation and intolerance. The motto: talking to each other instead of about each other.
Nationwide, "München spricht" is organized as a registered association as part of "Deine Stadt Spricht e.V.". Talks are held one Sunday a month in changing locations on personal, local and political topics that interest everyone or that people have always wanted to find out more about.
In addition to keynote speeches, the entire format includes a moderated, audience-centered discussion as well as a varied supporting program with live music and entertainment.
