Two different musical styles meet in this extraordinary and inspiring concert program. Josef Gabriel Rheinberger (1839 to 1901), who was born in Liechtenstein and worked in Munich, represents the diverse Central European musical culture at the end of the classical-romantic era with his symphonic Mass in C major.

The Argentinian composer Martin Palmeri (born 1965) captivates the audience with his Latin American flair, creating a wonderful synthesis of the Latin mass text and the Argentinian tango with his Misatango.

Under the overall direction of Óscar Payá Prats, the Munich Concert Choir will perform for you together with Alice Lackner (mezzo-soprano), Simon Japha (bandoneon), Rodolfo Focarelli (piano) and the Munich Residence Orchestra.
