Murat Güngör's music combines Anadolu rock, pop and traditional Turkish sounds to create a unique sound journey. His roots are Alevi-Zaza from Dersim, and the Bağlama, central to his music, comes from this tradition. His albums and concerts have earned him worldwide recognition. The duet "Ah sen bilmedin" with Cem Adrian was named song of the year.
