Murdo Mitchell: The new voice from Glasgow with big ambitions

With a voice that goes straight to the heart and songs that tell stories full of intensity and depth, Murdo Mitchell from Glasgow is increasingly making his mark on the international music scene. After the acclaimed success of his debut EP "Stay Nocturnal" (2021) - highly praised by Earmilk, CLASH and XS Noize - Mitchell is back with his next big hit: "Ghosts", the single from the album "Aztec Jewel", which was released in April 2023.

The single "Ghosts" showcases Mitchell's ability to turn darkness and brooding into song. Ones To Watch describes the song as "a haunting piece that tells a story all of its own - one in which pensiveness and melancholy become beautiful music that resonates for a long time". Mitchell's fanbase is growing steadily, and his shows speak for themselves: his first London headline show at St. Pancras Church in November 2022 was completely sold out, as were many dates on his successful UK tour in April 2023.
