MuSaMe On Stage: Band in the River (Softrock/Blues/Pop)

Band in the River is a four-piece band from Düsseldorf that stands for handmade, soulful soft rock with influences from blues, pop and country. Their sound combines honest lyrics with organic arrangements reminiscent of modern indie bands as well as timeless classics.

The band was founded in 2018 when Lukas Bulang (guitar), Jan Kaufmann (keys) and Maximilian Aigner (bass) came together musically. With the addition of Natalie Bernei (vocals & drums) in 2019, the line-up was complete and the band developed its unmistakable style. Since then, Band in the River has gained a steadily growing audience with intimate live performances, melodic songwriting and a warm, atmospheric sound. Their songs tell stories of transience, longing and the search for identity - carried by a memorable voice and well thought-out instrumental arrangements.

Band in the River is a Düsseldorf soft rock band with influences from blues, pop and country. With a mix of vintage sound and modern arrangements, they create soulful songs that tell stories and captivate the audience. In March 2025, they released their latest single "You Don't Live Here No More" - a nostalgic song about youth, change and letting go of the past.
