Museumsnacht Köln 2024

In the organizer's words:

About the event

Museum Night Cologne on November 2, 2024: 52 art venues - 1 ticket

52 museums and art venues open their doors to all curious night owls from 7 pm to 2 am and invite you to an exciting and varied program: whether ambient sounds and colorful visuals between medieval sculptures, open studios, feminist readings and rap concerts in the exhibition or pop music and cold drinks in the museum foyer - it certainly won't be boring! Lobbies become lounges, workshops invite you to join in, culinary offerings and exciting guided tours attract visitors of all ages. From 2 am to 5 am, two after-show parties will take place exclusively for our Museum Night visitors - two locations, two different music genres, lots of danceable beats!

Tickets:
The regular Museum Night ticket (for all persons aged 16 and over) costs EUR 24 online (including advance booking fees) and at the Box Office.

A personal admission wristband will be issued on presentation of the online ticket at the first station visited or at one of our information centers.

Children up to and including the age of 15 and necessary accompanying persons according to the disabled person's ID card have Free admission and do not require a Museum Night ticket/entry wristband, but may require a ticket (the corresponding ID must be carried).

Arrival and departure:
The regular online ticket (from the age of 16) includes a personalized public transport ticket, which is also valid for travel to and from the VRS area. The ticket is valid from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., in conjunction with a visit to one of our after-show parties even until 10 a.m.

Transfer between the art venues:
In principle, transfers between the art venues are made individually by public transport, bicycle or on foot.

Special Museum Night shuttles (Deutz-Mülheim-Shuttle, Bimmelbahn-Rhein-Express in the south of Cologne) will also run on two designated routes between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m., which can be used free of charge by our visitors. The stops (some regular KVB stops, some substitute stops) are marked and are located near the respective art venues.

The personalized public transport ticket included in the regular online ticket (from the age of 16) is also valid for transfers between the art venues during the Museum Night. It must be carried during all journeys and shown on request.

A personalized ticket will also be issued when tickets are purchased at the Box Office.

Accompanying persons with a disabled person's pass and children up to and including the age of 15 may require a ticket to use public transport (children up to and including the age of 5 and children under the age of 7 who have not yet started school travel free of charge, children from the age of 6 up to and including the age of 14 can use the children's fare or a school or PrimaTicket. A monthly, Formel9 or Aktiv60 ticket may also allow you to take a child with you. Please check individually before you travel).
