Mary Ocher
With two new albums in her luggage, Berlin artist Mary Ocher returns to Berlin for this special concert after her tour of Europe and North America. For almost two decades, Mary Ocher has been pushing the boundaries between pop and avant-garde with playful, colorful forms, clever content and tongue-in-cheek allusions. In doing so, she moves within a broad musical spectrum that ranges from post-punk, folk and field recordings to cosmic synthesizer compositions and deconstructed techno. The critically acclaimed new album "Your Guide To Revolution" is a cheerful ode to hope and was released just six months after its edgy and experimental predecessor "Approaching Singularity: Music for The End of Time", which was named album of the week by The Quietus and is one of the most popular records of the year on Bandcamp.
