The band "Barrelmen" has carved out a unique place in the music scene by combining the energy of rock and punk with the soul of Celtic folk and the raw romance of shanties. Formed in 2010, they have quickly made a name for themselves by fusing traditional Irish melodies and instruments such as the tin whistle, fiddle, mandolin, bagpipes and banjo with powerful rock guitar riffs and driving punk beats.
The lyrics of their songs often tell stories of sailors, adventures and lost loves, which makes their music both nostalgic and rebellious. Particularly impressive is the way they preserve the originality of folk while capturing the raw energy of punk.
Barellmen are four musicians from Berlin (Wolle, Herbert, Frank, Micha), many instruments and one passion.
