Musik & Stulle - Konzerte mit Geschmack mit Insa

Music & Stulle - evenings for the heart. A stage for the local singer-songwriter scene and delicious sandwiches for free - and if you like, you can also get a drink or two at the bar. The concert series in Oberhafen is organized by Hobenköök and BridgeGigs, two companies from different industries that have the same goal: to make our world a little bit better through sustainable, regional approaches.

While one half of her Zillenial bubble is having children or building houses and the other half is training for a half marathon, the young Hamburg up-and-coming artist INSA is working on her debut EP and taking a look back at the time that is often romanticized as the "carefree youth". In her songs, she reflects on interpersonal encounters and formative moments. INSA's bouncy energy almost stands in contrast to this, with which she manages to infect her audience with her unfiltered euphoria despite her often thoughtful lyrics. She takes the listener into her world, which sometimes consists of shimmering disco balls, lounging around on city rooftops and overflowing flat-sharing parties, but also of university degrees, tax returns and electricity arrears.

It's about love and loss, self-esteem and self-doubt. Influenced by artists such as Lizzie McAlpine and Holly Humberstone, INSA creates a very personal sound, somewhere between shimmering pop and melancholic indie. She herself likes to describe it as a late summer/early fall sound that feels exactly like the days when the frost is already sticking to the car windows in the morning but the sun is still warming your skin at midday. All this with a voice that is not only heard, but above all felt.

We are delighted that INSA has accepted our invitation to the Oberhafen. As always, the concert will be accompanied by market-fresh sandwiches from Hobenköök (included in the ticket price!).

Admission from 6:30 pm, start at 7 pm.

Musik & Stulle has been a collaboration between Bridge Gigs and Hobenköök since 2018.
