In his quest for an 'expression of powerful emotions', the young & extremely unconventional composer presents himself as the laconic 'énfant terrible' of his time. Even in his early piano works, he explored new and previously unheard-of harmonies without sacrificing rhythmic harshness. The dreamlike & ever creeping bittersweet lyricism of a still young soul magically complements the demonic sound experiments of this aspiring & always elegantly dressed composer.

The Afghan pianist Nageeb Gardizi presents the works of the young Sergei Prokofiev.
