The audience can look forward to a fantastic evening of traditional Chinese music and performance art when the Xi'an Orchestra and vocal soloists bring the typical soundscapes of their homeland to life with virtuosity. Among other things, the concert will focus on the drumming music at the original site of Xi'an, a unique art form that has been recognized as a world cultural heritage and national cultural heritage. The musicians of the Xi'an Orchestra play fascinating instruments such as the bell and tone stone, the Chinese zithers Guqin, Se and Zhazheng, the Chinese wind instrument Xun and the harp Konghou. In a colorful and sonically unique performance, the guests from China will transport festival visitors back to the era of the Tang Dynasty and impressively present the cultural richness of the Far East with traditional songs, compositions and choreographies.
