The Musikgarten is moving permanently to Böhler Park for the summer months. No more secret whispers. Instead, open meadows, evening sun & real closeness to the artists. A place that welcomes you. And which you can rediscover - with every concert.

And the camera is also on outside. All concerts will once again be recorded audiovisually - directly in the open air. So the magic will not only be remembered, but will live on online.

More people can be part of the Musikgarten, because we have more space and more tickets! With the Support your Artist Ticket, you decide the price and 100% of the ticket revenue goes directly to the artists on stage.

About the artist:

Resting is nothing for this walking collection of contradictions. Douwe Bob is too much of a go-getter, cocktail shaker, ladies' man, bohemian, romantic, melancholic, party animal, father, poet, singer, rock'n'roller, charmer, guitarist, night owl, skipper, poker player, style icon, pianist, city boy and man of nature ... all united in one person. After the roots-Americana album Born To Win Born To Lose (2021), the sixth album, a real pop record, was released on Valentine's Day 2024: Where Did All The Cool Kids Go? With the hits This World Is Our Home and Nothing To Lose. The album, written with Stijn Van Dalen and producer Gordon Groothedde, is about love in the broadest sense of the word. About feeling at home on this earth, being happy in this world and with the people you love. Douwe Bob won the first edition of "The Best Singer-Songwriter of the Netherlands" in 2012, represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 and was awarded twice with a 3FM Award, a BUMA Award and three times with an Edison. In 2023, he celebrated his 10th anniversary and appeared on the television program De Beste Zangers.
