The Musikgarten transforms various locations in the area into intimate live stages where up-and-coming musicians perform in a unique atmosphere. Look forward to handmade music, surprising sounds and a special closeness to the artists. Whether in an old industrial hall, a surf hall or in the open air - every session has its own charm.

All concerts are recorded audiovisually and published on YouTube after the evening via the channel of our cooperation partner APEIRON.

Experience an exciting evening filled with music and become part of a live session with artists from all over Europe. Take a look behind the scenes and feel the special magic of a live recording. The artists bring their latest songs and special interpretations with them, while you are up close and personal when unique moments are created. Each session takes place in extraordinary locations on the Areal Böhler and creates an atmosphere that you won't soon forget.

At the beginning, all guests will meet at the traffic circle on the Areal Böhler, where we will welcome you together. From there, you will be taken to the secret concert location - a special place that will only be revealed that evening.

About the artist:

Growing up in a village in the district of Düren, NRW, Fabian Kuhn started writing his own songs at a very early age. However, after successfully completing his training as a bank clerk, he decided not to follow the predetermined path in life. Instead, he moved to the nearest big city - Cologne - to devote himself entirely to music.

Kuhn puts his finger in the wound. Self-critically or as an observer, the 26-year-old songwriter writes about growing up in a rural area, the joys and failures of the working population and the desire and the associated difficulty of realizing one's own dreams and oneself. His music is characterized by elements of folk, pop and Americana. He speaks openly about fears and self-doubt and takes even the smallest interpersonal relationships apart with precision.

Words such as sincere, authentic and hard-working only begin to summarize the nature of this approachable artist and his music. His unbroken joy of playing and his instinct for captivating the audience at just the right moment and never letting go make his concerts an unforgettable experience. Whether he is on stage with his four-piece band or alone with his guitar, the energy and intimacy of his live performances create a special connection with his audience that makes every concert unique. His hard work pays off: He was nominated for the POP-NRW-Preis 2024 in the "Newcomer" category, recorded over a million views on the YouTube video platform and achieved his first major radio placements on stations SWR3, Deutschlandfunk Nova and more.
