Where should we start?

It's about dancing, late-night phone calls and the way she brings color into the world. But above all, it's about the trust in us as friends and her support for us - which always overwhelms us. Deep down, we are convinced that Mel D doesn't really need us. Just a few seconds of your attention are enough for her. After that, everything great comes naturally and the world becomes the little place it really is.

Zurich-based singer-songwriter Mel D delivers indie pop songs full of poetry, adventurousness and emotion. She is now coming to WELTKUNSTZIMMER in Düsseldorf on her European tour. With her brand new album: Young Bones (release: 05.09.2025) There is Bring the Witches Back, a song of praise to witchcraft. A quiet piece that invokes the return of the witches with gentle feminist urgency for more love and magic to turn us towards each other and the world. Soft, a soulful song, lulls you with gentle lightness and tender melody into an amorous feeling of the in-between full of possibilities. You are never alone when listening to the album anyway. Playful and with folk and electro-pop, Mel D floats towards love, together with us and the title of the song confirms: We win.

Pastel-colored guitars with silver star stickers: Angelic In Jeans is an indie rock band from Düsseldorf. Four friends who are realizing their shared dream of being modern rock stars. With pleasantly distorted guitar melodies and driving drums, Angelic In Jeans sing about the horror of modern life that they are confronted with in their twenties. Their debut single "Internet", released in October 2024, is about the bad habit of reading comments on the internet.
