MÜTTER: WERKSCHAU / Künstlerische Residenz

2 artists and mothers reside on the theme of MOTHER! They invite the audience to participate in the workshop and show the results in the Werschau at the weekend!

Giuseppina Tragni and Angelika Baumgartner, freelance theater makers, dedicate their residency to the theme of MOTHER. A topic that accompanies us in many ways throughout our lives: be it in terms of our own mothers, being a mother or not being a mother. For one week, both artists, who have each done their own research on this topic in 2023, will be conducting research. They rummage through what they have already found, what is their own, what is foreign and look for connections with each other.

In the open workshop, visitors are invited to observe the process and play an integrative role in shaping it - the joint results will be shown in the public exhibition.
