A Ruhrpott quartet is shaking up the metal scene. Their debut album CONSUMED was released on NIHILISTIC EMPIRE RECORDS in 2014, but MY DOMINION have been self-producing since 2019 and have already released four singles including videos and a festival recording as OFFICIAL BOOTLEG.

METAL HAMMER describes the sound of the Essen-based band as somewhere between Six Feet Under, Deicide and Amon Amarth; ROCK HARD also throws Bolt Thrower and Cannibal Corpse into the mix - but the trade magazines and webzines all agree on one thing:

This heavy five-piece has been whirling through the underground since 2010. After an EP and three albums, the fourth longplayer AS THE ASHES SETTLE on the new label Transcending Obscurity Records is set to be ORPHALIS' breakthrough.

Also live, extremely technical and massive compositions skillfully alternate between unbridled rage and melodic passages. The modern mix does not shy away from integrating old-school elements. Wild, aggressive riffs attack at full throttle. Catchy mosh parts accompany the ongoing storm of slamming bass and majestic guitars, of intoxicating melodies and regular explosions, of dissonance and devastating violence - raw and complex at the same time; fast, heavy and relentless.
