The Political Salon in the Kultur: Haus Dacheröden
Too dry, too wet, too warm, too windy: The fact that the climate is changing can no longer be seriously refuted. But what do humans have to do with it? And what can we do about it now? Opinions and models differ. Some call for the abandonment of oil, gas and coal, covering nature with huge solar panels and foundations for wind turbine towers. Others believe in modern technology, but with fossil fuels and nuclear power. Because climate change has always existed. The question is, however, how fast will it all happen? Can humans and nature still keep up?
The panel guests at the Political Salon in the Kultur: Haus Dacheröden will be discussing this on August 12:
Robert Bednarsky (BUND Thüringen)
Markus Bogoczek (Managing Director of metalution GmbH in Neuhaus-Schiernitz and Chairman of the Erfurt diocesan group of the Federation of Catholic Entrepreneurs)
Jana Liebe (Managing Director of the Thuringian Renewable Energy Network / ThEEN e.V. innovation cluster)
Moderation: Ulrich Böhme (MDR)
The series "Nachgefragt. Der Politische Salon im Kultur: Haus Dacheröden" series aims to discuss topics that are socially relevant and move people. In contrast to the political arena, in which abbreviations and exaggerations are often used, the aim of the salons is to engage in a differentiated debate that focuses on the issues at hand and seeks a contentious but also respectful discourse. The audience is expressly invited to take an active part in the discussion.
Organizers of the series: Erfurter Herbstlese e.V., Katholisches Forum im Land Thüringen, MDR Thüringen
