Dance theater piece by Ana Ronzani with the senior company of the Leipzger Tanztheater as part of the 13th Leipzig Dance Theater Weeks
Sometimes it's just a scarf, a song or an old photo - and suddenly we're in the middle of a moment that seemed long gone. Memories. They creep up on us, burst upon us with full force or remain quietly in the background. They comfort, hurt, connect.
The dancers of the senior company venture on a poetic journey through personal and collective memories with the piece "Nachhall". What remains when much has already disappeared? And what returns, especially when you don't expect it?
Nachhall is the Seniorcompany's second piece and a dance-based exploration of the question: what memories shape our lives? We explore not only what we remember, but also what these memories do to us. What happens when they start to fade?
In this dance theater piece, memory is brought to life in the now - embedded in swing rhythms and contemporary music.
