Things get colorful at Motorama during the Night of the Libraries.

4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 11 a.m., children's area, first floor

Cuddly toy sleepover:

What happens in the library at night when everyone is at home and the library has long since closed? Your cuddly toys can tell you about it! We cordially invite all cuddly toys to a sleepover party! You can drop off your favorite cuddly toy on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. When you pick it up again on Saturday morning at 11.00 a.m., you will find out what the cuddly toys experienced during their adventurous night.

From 18.00, youth area, first floor

Drawing mangas:

Whether you're a beginner or already an artist - you can draw manga (or learn to) and exchange ideas with other manga fans. And if you just want to watch, you are of course also welcome.

We will provide the material, but you are also welcome to bring your own.

19.00 to 21.00, Showroom, first floor

Library pub quiz: Europe special:

Do you know your way around Europe and what do you know about libraries? Test your knowledge or learn amazing facts about Europe and its libraries. We cordially invite you to our pub quiz evening. A new quiz round starts every hour on the hour - and of course there are prizes to be won.

18.00 to 22.00, first floor

Brick on brick - Lego (also) for adults:

The professionals from the Bricking Bavaria e.V. association bring extra color to Motorama with the small colorful bricks and have lots of tips for your own constructions. Play and building fun is also guaranteed for our adult visitors and there are no limits to their creativity.

6 p.m. to 10 p.m., update area and GameLab, upper floor

Gaming session in the GameLab - gaming, testing, playing

Try out everything the City Library's GameLab in Motorama has to offer: From gaming laptops and robots to competitions on consoles and racetracks. Try out games and technology together or alone until late at night.

6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Learning and Knowledge area, upper floor

Board games area:

The popular board games area is a must on the Long Night at Motorama. We set up various board games and give a short introduction to the rules of the game. Afterwards, you can play and try out the games to your heart's content. The games can of course be borrowed afterwards.

On Friday, April 4, 2025, the Night of the Libraries will take place for the first time nationwide. Under the motto "Knowledge.Share.Discover", small and large libraries, special libraries, public and academic libraries will open their doors on the first Friday evening in April and invite you to a diverse discovery tour.
