Postures / Attitudes. People of the Centre Pompidou - after August Sander

The publication shows people who have a connection to the Centre Pompidou in Paris, whether they work there, or research and learn, produce art or live in its shadow. Opposite them, on a blank page, are the titles of pictures by the German photographer August Sander from another world. Over a hundred years ago, he wanted to capture the face of the times, the people of the 20th century, in his typologies. The ensemble is an experimental arrangement, an interplay of old function and contemporary image. The similarities and differences reflect social processes and form the collective portrait of a cultural institution of our time.
