In the organizer's words:

New ideas for textile upcycling - save your favorite clothes!

Are old items of clothing no longer on trend or have they simply become too small? No need to give them away!

Give them a new lease of life in the Makerspace. With a sewing machine, needle and thread, you can create lots of wonderful things: be it a personal gift, a new decoration, a practical shopping bag or a cozy cushion.

Even your favorite clothes can be repaired and made wearable again with clever sewing techniques. Our expert Christine Vogel from "neuss agenda 21 e.V." gives valuable tips to make your clothes shine again.

Who is it for?
For children aged 8 and over and families. The workshop is free of charge and a library card is not required.

Equipment:
Sewing machines, sewing accessories and fabrics are available in the Makerspace. You are also welcome to bring your own textiles and/or sewing machines.
