Natural spaces in dialog with composed music: The ensemble LUX:NM creates immersive spaces in which the sounds of nature merge with the creative impulses of artistic processes. The concert celebrating the ensemble's 15th anniversary examines the spatial-acoustic complexity of nature from the personal perspectives of four female composers: Kirsten Reese deals thematically with garden areas, Hanna Hartman with insects, Karen Power with ponds and Séverine Ballon with forests. Together with the jointly conceived compositions of the ensemble LUX:NM, natural-synthetic soundscapes are created that invite the audience to explore their own listening experiences and to both discover and reflect on the acoustic richness of detail in nature. The concert takes place as part of Heroines of Sound.
