NAVOCANE

NAVOCANE - 5 Berliners who realize their vision of modern metal. The band, which was founded in 2016 around PLACENTA mastermind Tobi Stein, follows in the footsteps of the Berlin metal veterans and benefits from over 20 years of experience, various albums and tours.

Stylistically, the band plays metal from the 90s and 2000s, ranging from death metal to hardcore and rock. The focus is on percussive riffs, broad dynamics and strong hooklines. Rough shouts alternate with sustained clean vocals. The production is deliberately kept organic. In terms of content, the band deals with topics of the modern media world, socio-critical images and personal experiences.

All of the band's output is self-produced in the classic DIY style. From recording the albums to videos, designs and concert organization - the band members manifest their passion across the entire spectrum of their work.

In spring 2024, the new release "DEATHWISH DISCO" was released, which highlights the band's unmistakable style even better than the two previous albums. This album is heavy and aggressive, groovy and dynamic, but at the same time anthemic, wonderfully melancholic and even humorous. A rousing mix of old school and new school styles, often unexpected but never boring

With a unique blend of melodic interludes and heavy breakdowns, the band is well established in the regional metal scene.

"Stay Metal!" - Not just a good (survival) motto, but also the program of the newcomers "Rise From The Abyss".

This is exactly what the five-piece band, which came together in summer 2020

and have been delivering metal from Nuremberg ever since. Without allowing themselves to be pigeonholed into a subgenre, the guys create track after track. Fat, hard riffs, melodic, anthemic

choruses, crass, dark shouts and violent, destructive breakdowns - one thing is certain: Nobody gets a raw deal here! So come to the next concert and tear the place down with us!
