Nazanin Noori & Andrea Belfi live at Gaswerk Music Days 2025
Nazanin Noori and Andrea Belfi are a duo whose collaborative practice moves fluidly between sound art, composition, and performance. Their work is rooted in emotional narratives, drawing from dark, meditative textures, intricate harmonies, and hypnotic rhythmic repetition. Compositions unfold through drums, percussion, voice, and modular electronics, forming layered, orchestral soundscapes that are both visceral and immersive.

Nazanin Noori's interdisciplinary approach spans installation, direction, text, composition, and live/lecture performance. Her practice explores the convergence of sound, space, sculpture, and post-dramatic poetry, crafting atmospheric narratives within the Ambient Hardcore realm. Her works have been presented at institutions including Villa Massimo, ICA, Berliner Festspiele, and La Gaîté Lyrique.

Andrea Belfi is a composer, drummer, and electronic musician working across minimal, post-classical, experimental, and improvised music, as well as theater and performance. His singular blend of rhythmic discipline and tonal exploration has resonated across international stages -from the Philharmonie de Paris to Montreux Jazz Festival.

Gaswerk Music Days (12.07. - 19.07.) is the summer music festival organized by Gaswerksiedlung Berlin and taking place in its lush gardens, BLOCK1 event space, and creative studios. The event unites experimental electronics, African sounds, jazz, noise, avant-pop, kraut, improvisation and dance music under its "Radical Live Music" flag, binding and crossing genres in a program with over 20 acts on 2 stages.
