NDR Info, the Braunschweiger Zeitung newspaper and the House of Science in Braunschweig present the joint event series "Science from Braunschweig". On April 29, NDR Info will record a discussion with experts on the topic of "Agriculture under pressure: between aspiration and reality".

Agriculture is at a crossroads: farming more sustainably while surviving economically - and yet there is often a lack of recognition and political support. At the same time, climate change and the biodiversity crisis are calling for a far-reaching transformation. How can agriculture meet these challenges? And how can good working conditions be ensured for people on the farms? We want to discuss these questions with experts from the fields of agricultural economics, biology and psychology.

In their joint series of events, NDR Info and the House of Science in Braunschweig are addressing the topic of agriculture. NDR Info science editor Nele Rößler discusses the challenges facing agriculture in Germany with experts in Braunschweig.
