"NDR Kultur Foyerkonzert on tour": Liederabend in Lübeck

Piano and voice - one of the most elementary combinations in music. The "NDR Kultur Foyer Concert on Tour" at the European Hansemuseum in Lübeck brings precisely this combination to the stage. And with a German star cast featuring soprano Michaela Kaune and pianist Burkhard Kehring.

Michaela Kaune is a permanent member of the Deutsche Oper Berlin and a regular guest on the stages of the most renowned international opera houses. Her best-known interpretations include the Marschallin from "Der Rosenkavalier" and Eva from "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg" at the Bayreuth Festival. In Lübeck, she performs together with Burkhard Kehring, who has made a name for himself internationally as a Lied accompanist. As part of his "Divan of Song" project, he is dedicated to opening up new perspectives for the art song genre. Michaela Kaune and Burkhard Kehring have already performed together several times and have recorded songs by Robert Schumann, among others.

At the "NDR Kultur Foyer Concert on Tour" in Lübeck, they will once again demonstrate their harmony and give an insight into their work under the moderation of NDR Kultur editor Ludwig Hartmann. The concert will take place at the European Hanseatic Museum Lübeck, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. With its permanent exhibition on the history of the Hanseatic League and a variety of special exhibitions, the museum enjoys great popularity. It has established itself as one of the most visited museums in northern Germany.
