Heide Müller is considered one of the young rising stars in the conducting world. By standing in for Martina Batič, she is now making her own early debut with the NDR Vokalensemble with contemporary vocal works from Northern Europe and the Baltic States. Sven-David Sandström's elegiac choral music "Sonnets of darkness and love" opens the program. Dedicated to his compatriot, the Swedish jazz musician Nils Landgren, wistful blues vocals and the warm sounds of a trombone rise above the muted vocal texture.
