The two pianists Hyeyeon Kim and Deborah Coombe will take you into the world of classical ballet. Both were colleagues at Theater Lüneburg. Igor Stravinsky's "Petrushka", a dramatic masterpiece of the ballet renaissance, which premiered in Paris in 1911 with Diaghilev's legendary "Ballets Russes".
Sergei Prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet", commissioned by the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow and also performed there in 1945.
Both works are characterized by their captivating dynamics and emotional depth and celebrate the music of classical ballet.
