Martin Zingsheim & E-MEX present:

E-MEX with a number of specialists for brand new music, a composer who talks from the sewing box, a cabaret artist with a dark past as a musicologist and perhaps the most legendary splatter film of all time. The experimental set-up for a musically unusual, possibly informative, definitely entertaining and, in a way, horror-like evening at the Pantheon in Bonn is complete.
Join Martin Zingsheim, Christoph Maria Wagner and the E-MEX Ensemble on a musical journey to the creepiest, most gruesome and bloodthirsty compositions on planet Earth. Arnold Schönberg writes menacing film music and doesn't even need a screen. George Crumb conjures up naked horror with a string quartet. Leo Ornstein commits suicide by composition, in an airplane of all places. Finally, Christoph Maria Wagner lets a skull roll and bass-baritone Renatus Mészár thrills in the title role of this ghost train turned musical. Surely there should be a lot to discuss? Cabaret artist and music lover Martin Zingsheim spices up the evening with cabaret interludes on the subject and a few cheeky questions for the expert Wagner. You are cordially invited.
