With AMI TECHNU, the JCOHH and the Hamburg collective WEIRD are launching a new club format that brings classical music and electronic club culture into an exciting dialog.

Under the motto "100 YEARS OF MUSIC BETWEEN CONCERT HALL & CLUB", the opening evening on July 4, 2025 is all about solidarity. Classical composers meet sets by Hamburg DJs Miyagi, Bambi & SUZé, strings meet synths, scores meet drops.

In the Grüner Bunker on St. Pauli, in the legendary club Uebel & Gefährlich, an event in three parts will unfold from 9:30 pm (admission: 8:30 pm) - as a concert, crossover session and club night. The boundaries between stage and audience dissolve, different voices and genres become a shared experience. Between concrete bunker and high culture, an extraordinary experience is created that celebrates diversity, tolerance and togetherness.

"Ami Technu" comes from the Hebrew. "Ami" means "my person" or "my people", while "Technu" is reminiscent of "techno" - and thus of a community that is not defined by origin or language, but by sound, movement and shared moments. The name combines belonging with the future, a hybrid of tradition and scene, of history and modern club culture. Open, lively, connecting, polyphonic. AMI TECHNU invites you to take a look at the world of your counterpart - and perhaps become a part of it.
