Samuel Mariño, the "vocal wonder from Venezuela" will be a guest of the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra:
"The contemporary music world is experiencing this unique vocal phenomenon as a similar sensation as Handel's contemporaries once experienced the vocal art of the famous castrati. The young Venezuelan, who has retained his natural soprano voice and is artistically coached by none other than Barbara Bonney, is already well on the way to a global career."

Jutta Werbelow has been a fixture in the Rhine-Neckar region for more than three decades as a singer, percussionist, actress and presenter. With her clever and entertaining manner, she will now host our New Year's concerts for the first time - with a lot of charm and wit!

Much to the delight of the orchestra, Michael Hofstetter will once again be conducting.
