Neuland 12: House of Crinoline – Willkommen im Post-Patriarchat!

In the organizer's words:

HOUSE OF CRINOLINE opens the doors to a shimmering ball of fashion, voguing, puppetry and activism! Our historical starting point is an unjustly unknown author and actress from the Romantic era: Sophie Albrecht. She campaigned for equal rights and the dissolution of rigid gender roles in feminist salons. We will declaim her texts, try on the fashion of her time, dare to make comparisons with the forms of expression of other marginalized groups and dance the ghosts of the old days off our bodies. We will sing about the victims of patriarchy, commemorate the authors who were never heard and ensure that we remain free! We share anger, sadness and joy about the future, the past and the present. Come and slay!
