Women artists are still severely disadvantaged in the cultural sector in terms of visibility, working conditions and pay. In its current exhibition Mis(s)treated. More than your muse! with the representation of female artists in museums. In this talk, we will discuss the experiences of female artists in this profession: What support is needed? Where does something need to change structurally? And what responsibility do museums have in this regard?
