Newroz, the festival of the New Year, spring and resistance, stands for new beginnings, hope and community - values that are more important than ever today. It is a time when we celebrate the power of nature, the courage to change and the joy of life.

This year, you can expect a special program: an extraordinary exhibition, outstanding musicians, an impressive New Year's bonfire and, of course, dance and music. Together, we will bring the traditions of the Newroz festival to life, remember its deep-rooted meaning and welcome the New Year with fire, sounds and movement. Come along and celebrate with us!

We cordially invite you to celebrate Newroz 2025 together! With music by Mustafa Demir and others - soundscapes between tradition and modernity - Mustafa Demir, musician, producer and musicologist, fuses the rich heritage of Kurdish music with modern electronic sounds. With his project "Shahmaran" and his singles "Brusk" and "Kurdifusion", he invites us on a journey that connects the past and the future. Demir, former artistic director of the Tigris Symphony Orchestra and co-founder of "Shahmaran", has been living in Germany since 2017 and continues his musical vision - a symbiosis of Kurdish tradition and innovative soundscapes that combines nostalgia and innovation.
