This young techno-jazz duo from Stockholm and Leipzig is the result of combining new and old sounds - a NEWSEUM. True to the motto "less is more", they create fresh, free-spirited, party-ready tracks with bass, drums and smart technical tricks. A mixture of sounds that fly around our ears in an illegal East German basement club and the playful urgency of raw live jazz.

The Swedish-German project consists of bassist Simon Fagerstedt and drummer Peter Krutsch. It was born at the beginning of 2024 in the light of intense strobe lamps in the dark cellars of abandoned industrial buildings in Leipzig (Berlin has long been in the hands of Airbnb tourists). Where NEWSEUM create their music, heavy cables from an old transformer station crackle and tick next door. We can literally hear this electrical crackling in their tracks.

Both musicians have years of experience in various formations and regularly tour with other artists in South America, the USA, Europe and Asia. In 2024, they started NEWSEUM as an experiment.
