NHT Trio - Spitzenjazz aus New York

In the organizer's words:

With ShokoNagai (piano), Gregor Huebner(violin) and Satoshi Takeishi(drums, electronics), the NHT Trio brings together three established improvisers from the New York music scene and virtuosos on their instruments. Ingeniously combined with electronic effects, they create highly impulsive sound paintings from composed scores and improvisations.

Between different musical styles of jazz and contemporary chamber music, they are always in search of the delicate balance between notated complexity and the unbridled energy of the moment. Traditional musical models are reshaped and redefined. Sound art at the Kunstverein in a historic setting.
