Guided by the experience of living in exile in Germany, the DJ, performance and sound artist Hanna Launikovich asks herself existential questions about her own past and future, but also about the Belarusian past and future. She says: "Where do I come from? From nowhere, the periphery of the periphery. My home is the past. The present is a foreign country where I don't want to live, and the future no longer exists."
To indulge in memories means to move in a dream world of old, pixelated images, kitschy television programs and low-quality pop music. A compilation of these sounds serves as a soundtrack to accompany Launikovich, a graduate of the Giessen "Choreography and Performance" course, on her imaginary journey home. On the way, she shares stories - those that have already happened or those that are yet to happen.
