Nils Wogram & Mathias Claus Jazz Duo

Between the years, the KufA Haus offers a special Christmas treat for all jazz enthusiasts and members of the Braunschweig jazz community. Nils Wogram, one of Europe's leading jazz trombonists and a visionary of contemporary jazz, will be playing a double concert at the KufA Haus together with his long-standing Braunschweig concert partner, pianist Mathias Claus. Concerts as they are customary in New York jazz clubs, in addition to prime time also an early evening appointment.

A classic in the Braunschweig region - 19 years of Christmas jazz - is now moving into the KufA Haus to complement the cultural palette with swinging duo jazz from Braunschweig.

In this line-up, the entry point and basis remains the complete jazz tradition with blues and gospel stomps, hand-selected swinging favorite pearls of the musicians from Ellington, Cole Porter and Co to lyrical contemporary jazz, impulsive salsa rhythms or occasionally original compositions.
