NIMM PLATZ - ENDORPHIN SESSION

In the organizer's words:

Endorphin session as part of NIMM PLATZ

Dance freely in the middle of the city - just show up, feel the music, dance away. Live electronic beats, physical impulses, a shared groove - a dance floor for diversity and connection.

The Endorphin Session is a participatory dance session in which visitors to Neumarkt are invited to let themselves be carried by the music and the dance community that emerges. Contemporary dance strategies meet the club culture of electronic music - the focus is on the joy of collective togetherness through dance, movement and non-verbal encounters. Dancer and dance mediator Bettina Nampé will guide visitors through various low-threshold movement impulses. The session will be accompanied by a live electronic set by musician Christopher Collings. Participation is open to everyone with and without previous experience - every body is welcome, regardless of age, experience or disability.
Neon-lit adhesive strips will be used to create a barrier-free installation next to the stage, which will become a temporary dance floor. The focus is on the shared experience of movement, music and collective dynamics, as well as the power of communal diversity that unfolds in shared rhythm.
The Endorphin Session invites visitors to the Neumarkt to a spontaneous, anonymous and communal dance experience - a collective moment in which the inhibitions of public and interpersonal space are overcome through shared movement.
