NIMM PLATZ - KLASSISCHE KLÄNGE AM NEUMARKT

In the organizer's words:

A summery concert evening as part of NIMM PLATZ
With Anna Moog, Elene Tsartsidze & Keonju Lee

Look forward to an enchanting evening full of beautiful melodies, lively sounds and humorous surprises. The program offers a varied mix of well-known classical pieces, music from all over the world and virtuoso highlights - in short: "non-boring classical music" that is fun and touches the heart.
A special trio will create this festive atmosphere at Neumarkt: the internationally successful soprano Anna Moog, her mother, the renowned violinist Elene Tsartsidze, and the talented South Korean pianist Keonju Lee
Anna Moog is an internationally performing singer with concerts in Germany, the Netherlands, Georgia, Estonia, Russia, Austria, Italy and the USA. Described by the press as a "brilliant, hall-filling voice", she delights her audiences with a repertoire ranging from baroque to crossover. Anna studied singing at the Conservatory in Tbilisi and at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. Her performances are known for creative arrangements and lovingly designed program concepts.
Elene Tsartsidze is an outstanding violinist, conductor and music teacher. She is the founder and director of the violin ensemble "Si-Mi" and founder of the string quartet "Quartet of Tbilisi". Her career has taken her through numerous countries in Europe, Asia and the USA. As a teacher, she has supported generations of young musicians and won major prizes with her ensembles.
Keonju Lee showed her great talent early on in numerous competitions. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras and worked as a répétiteur. She performs internationally in Europe, Canada and America. In 2022 she was nominated as a Britten Pears Young Artist in England. She completed her bachelor's degree at Kyunghee University and her master's degree at the Cologne University of Music and Dance.

NIMM PLATZ am Neumarkt is a joint project of Cologne's cultural administration and the independent cultural scene, with contributions from the Cologne University of Music and Dance (HfMT) and the Academy of Media Arts (KHM).
