Cologne literary summer with a double reading: André Patten and Jan Schillmöller

In "Kaffee und Blumen" from die horen 296 (2024), André Patten talks about the bureaucratic pitfalls of getting married and arriving in Germany. He also shows illustrations by Anna Sarvira, which were created to accompany the text.
André Patten, born in Neuss, lives in Cologne and works as a freelance literary event organizer, literary mediator, author and lecturer as well as deputy chairman of the literary scene.

Jan Schillmöller will read from "PUZZLE", a sequel text developed for the "Out of Blue" exhibition, about glacier dynamics, solar storms and the wormholes in between. With a projection by Sophia Hose.
Jan Schillmöller studied design, media practice and literature in Wuppertal, Vienna and Leipzig. He writes prose, essays and reportage.
